    Minty HBT tunic, small size

    Hello,

    My latest addition.
Minty HBT tunic with imho original sewn breast eagle and collar tabs.
    Removable buttons and splendid markings

Imho a honest and unmessed with tunic....what do you think?

The fabric confused the auto focus on my camera, so I had to manually focus the pix

    Thanks for looking

    Alex

Very nice and untouched HBT in my opinion. The shoulder boards could have been added later.

            Hi Alex,
            Nice original boards... no issues.
Being a removeable item, its always tough to know if they are ever
original to the tunic. As little use is shown, more likely it was a
non NCO rank, NCO's would have tresse added at company level.

Still a nice match, and a very nice late issue example.

            Cheers,
            John.

              Hello John,

              thanks for the explanation
How would you date the tunic? 1944'isch?

              Thanks

                Hi Alex,
Hard to pin down, possibly as early as the summer of 43.
But the eagle tends to turn up on 1944 + garments as you suggest

Do a display, based on anywhere from the Kursk battle to the end.

                Cheers,
                John.

                    Hello John,

sounds good, I'm not quite sure if I start a manikin or not, time will tell

Thanks for the valuable info on the tunic.
