That's a neat cape. Went for $450. A good one it appears!
That dealer I've purchased from in the past and he has good items, usually from estate sales/house cleanings and often his items are found "as is"...
(often in not so good condition)... The cape of course is in great condition.
I've save some images for posterity! (I'm not the buyer btw, maybe another WAF member? )
Did you end up getting it Wewelsburg?

Did these have a eagle applied, like the SS examples did, and if so, what did they look like? I.e. bullion or ? (I was not the buyer, just interested).

      Thanks,

      Jerry

Did you also get this one Nick?
If so, have to start calling you "The Caped Crusader"
I don't think Kriegs had a eagle Jerry, but one never knows.
        Regards,
        Gary

I have a Herr Officers cape, those are fairly easy to find. The lining materials very as do the actually cape materials, some are waterproof or water resistant and others are just a heavy wool. They are sort of an "over-looked" uniform item and are affordable relative to other items.
