Lt. Colonel Field Officers Tunic - Comments Welcomed

This is my first tunic and first time posting on the site. Hope you guys will take a look and tell me what you think. I would also like to now what medals and accessories would be appropriate for this piece. If you have pictures to show me that would be great. I have been collecting military rifles for about 5 years and just started getting into this stuff. I posted two pics. How do you post more? I could only upload two??? Thanks, Mike S.

Hi, is there a name tag inside the pocket? That may help to figure out his awards if you can name him etc.

We can read that one but we need a better and closer image. If it is a unusual not too common name we can match him in officers lists and his records may be in the National Archives if you are lucky.

Can you take a in focus close up or scan it. Sort of a pain in the butt however worth it if you can figure out who it was.

And presumably he served in France.

What loops does it have for awards, as that might help? I can see at least one set on the left pocket.

If in fact credible, here's the former shop were the tunic was produced in contemporary times. "Rennes, 2 Rue Jean-Jaures."

I was kidding, super science for archaeologists, pictures of the shop are nice. I am surprised there isn't a Starbucks there.

We need a picture of the tag to figure it out. I have all the lists here if we can read it but have a meeting in half an hour and will not be back until later this afternoon.
