GD Cuff title opinions please !!!

Hi All,
Picked this cuff title up at a local fair this morning. Construction is a little different to some others I have seen but I have seen this method on 2 supposedly unissued private purchase titles (they were full length and still had the stock ticket on them indicating article number, length (350mm IIRC) and the price!).
I am not an expert in insginia matters (and to be honest I view the world of German cloth to be one of great expense and pain :-) ), but am a keen student of GD and thought it would be nice to get an example of the cufftitle.

I took the pics as best I could outside on a slightly overcast afternoon in the UK. I have left the pics at their taken size (big) to allow zooming where necessary.
I have looked in Scott's GD books but to no avail

It has been cut short to probably fit in a scrap book or frame (or to remove damaged ends, or to hide incriminating evidence or any myriad of reasons!).
The construction is of a nice quality black wool, the embrodiery is nice and tight. There is no backing material behind the embroidery on the reverse. The edging appears to be made from what I would refer to as silver hat piping, as used in the seams of officers caps.
The workmanship, in my opinion, is of a high standard. it is about 32-33mm from top outer edge to bottom outer edge.

Any thoughts gratefully received, especially if positive

I only had time to glance at one photo but it looks good. I'll take a closer look later. Very nice embroidery.

It doesn't conform to any "standard" or "accepted" construction, most tellingly the "piping" which of course should be "Russia" braid. As such its one of those pieces that you would have great difficulty passing on at a later date.
I wouldn't want it in my collection without cast iron provenance.

Hi Rik,
Hence my posting it here so that I can get feedback on it. I get the feeling that it may fit in to the "private purchase" category with all the doubt and uncertainty that is attendant with that.
It also doesn't conform to many of the fakes either!
The embroidery and materials all appear to be of period standard and the script is executed as per the examples in CSP volume 2. Given that russia braid is readily available I would question the application of the material used here if the intent was to deceive. But all of that is pure speculation, as is an awful lot of stuff in this sweet sickness that is miitaria collecting

I will try and dig out the info on the others that I saw like this as well.

Remembered where I had seen this construction before. If you look at Peter Jenkin's site (http://www.ssbw.co.uk) he has a pair of GD cuff titles, one of which exhibits the same construction. They are at the bottom of the page of the Insignia section.
Thoughts?
