Metal Luft breast eagle help please

Hi,

I would like to give this to an American collector and good friend of mine to complete a set of items relating to a pilot.

I've had it many years now and purchased it from a dubious source and I'm not sure if it's genuine, it lives in my junk box regardless........it's not to pretty and I've nothing else like it anyway.

I was of the mind that it was okay ??? But on a more close inspection there are traces of gold on it ?

I've tried to take pic's of it which are a bit dark I'm afraid, but from these can you see any 'good' traits or is it garbage !!!

although it went black as the night,it's not a good Summer eagle IMO.
The detail and pattern are no good..

me too, I've never seen one like it. The hinge/catch/pin seems all too like early repro badge ones
