Cockade ID Help Needed

Didn't have my camera with me so no photos, but I was at a vet's estate yesterday and he had some wonderful stuff. I couldn't identify two enlisted cockades that he had though. They were unused bevo on a light gray backing, and had never been folded into a square. Sound familiar to anyone?

Sounds like they were an early Heer type, to go with the 1st pattern cap eagle.
