Pretty cool cockade. Is it the size of a regular cap cockade ? The design of an eagle protecting a city or factory reminds me a bit of the design on the Night Wachman's Belt Buckle. In this case the W would stand for: Wachgesellschaft. The "L",- ?? The design puts me in mind of something that might have been worn by the Werkschutz ( Factory Protection Police ), as well. Very interesting, & I'd like to know exactly what it is for.

Yes it is about the size of national colors cockade. The tabs are not all there and no maker marks that I can see. I have not seen this before..Hope someone with more knowledge than me can figure this out. LOL Mike
