I agree with the every comment and I also have one in my collection but I dont like them. Maybe they are late war who knows but they are different from all the other variations of edelweiss that you see and there is the fact that no one has seen one on a uniform.

The stitched edelweiss patch comes in many variations. Sander has from memory around 50 or so and I have over 20 and whilst they all differ they all share a common look. This particular patch and it is very common which also concerns me, looks different. I cant put my finger on it but it just does.

Nevertheless, I cannot prove it is or it isnt genuine so I have to go with the flow.
