Here's my contribution a salty gabardine M44 (actually in my brother's possession).
Medal loops are period done for all medals shown! (a seasoned fighter!)

            Close up:
Note simplified rectangular stitch collar litzen and nice two tone backed breast eagle!

Above tunic is mine which I found some 25y ago, must admit that the gefreiter chevron and horseshoe patch were added to make the tunic more representable as there were two big holes on these spots! Other insignia original on jacket.
Salty piece, buttons all original on jacket although some have rusted more than the others. All the loops for the added medals were on the jacket when found. Nice combat worn M44

                Keep these gabardines coming!

Glenn, great tunic, thanks for sharing! Jerry, yours is fantastic as well, good luck finding a Heer gabardine M43 cap, not sure I've ever seen a real one. Gabardine uniforms are my favorites, used to have a gabardine wrap but sold it unfortunately. Here are my M43 and M44 tunics in gabardine, original tabs but replaced eagles. Markings are typical for each example.
