Medical Officers tunic

Picked this up from a guy I deal with frequently. Everything feels right with this one. The eagle might be reapplied but can't say when. The stitching is by hand and the original holes through the liner are not attached.

It has just the right amount of wear to tell you it was there.

I am curious about this one as I have a very similar 6 button tunic.
Mine came with officers jager insignia. The breast eagle on mine is a machine stitched BeVo flatwire officers type.
Its also is fully lined, has pocket pleats but unlike this one, mine came with simpler straight pocket flaps...
and mine has slip-on shoulderboards, as opposed to sew-ins...
Other than that very similar, so also a plain field gray collar and also lacking French cuffs and also lacking a belt support
and no skirt tail split.
An interesting mix...

Does anybody else have any insights on this sort of tunic? Would this have been manufactured to a specific region?
