Does anyone know for sure if these tips of pips are wartime or post War? Whenever I see them they are almost mint.

I myself think they are good, Have a pair of Luft Flight/Para piped boards with this type of pip on them... Just lifted one and had a look at the underside and they are the same as those you posted.
Have seen many other boards with these pips also!

Thanks I wonder if they are pre-War, they appear to be aluminum and are very carefully constructed, thick compared to wartime stuff I have etc. Some of the alloy stuff made during the War, especially the pins and solder just falls apart and fades very quickly.
