Looks like an m36 slip on artillery board with a unit ID. As far as what unit this could be I have no idea, and odds are you will never be able to find out, as these were unofficial...

I'd agree with that, they look alot like M-36 Artillery...as for the unit, you'll be hard pressed to find out what exactly it is, just hope you come across a photo sometime.Comment

The loop is a regimental designator. These were not regulation, so you won't find 'em in 'the book.' Very nice strap, by the way.Comment
