No, it is not true. Those are lines that would be used by sellers to try and convince people. It is probably made from an overcoat or something else with pockets removed. It is hard to tell with out seeing linings and details

Sorry, it's an ongoing thing about Luftwaffe blue gray stug wraps and Luftwaffe use of Heer field gray stug wraps. I was trying to have some fun with it instead of getting mad about it.

Johnny is also right....I may have made something up that an unscrupulous dealer might say to sell something.

Turds and I did not directly call them that. I said in general sometimes when you find a bunch of junk (turds) you will also find a good piece (gem). This has happened to me many times especially with people that collect guns and have couple other items they do not really know much about.
Some would be garbage and then there sometimes would be a really nice untouched Army tunic mixed in etc.


It pays to examine them before just deciding everything is bad. With these photos it is not possible to even tell if the jackets are real.

Interesting thread I started.... I will have to get more pics. The guy is pretty far away (but drivable) but since he has not mentioned any prices (just that the wrap is the most expensive) we will have to see.

It may all be a mute point if he wants thier weight in GOLD...HAHA

I just wanted to see if the cloth collectors here could see some OBVIOUS red flags from the lame pics he sent me.

Once I either get better pics or go there and take them in person Ill post them here

If he has other items you are interested in and you know they are good there is no loss in looking at the other stuff. I would assume it probably is all put together but one cannot tell from the photos. If the wrap is real, (which as mentioned is very unlikely) it would be worth the trip alone. Even if the tunics are real and the insignia is added/replaced if he does not want too much there could still be a deal there. Just ask him rough prices "so you know what to expect etc." before you drive, if he will not tell you it may be a waste of time. These are always up in the air and you never know what will happen until they are over.

I touched base with the seller again and he's sending about 12 pics per tunic of both inside and outside.

Then we will see if is worth the trip.
