    Sind diese Edelweissen original?

Hi - I recently got these Edelweiss at auction. Notice 1 has holes for mounting, the other has prongs. I was wondering if they are WW 2 vintage? I am mainly concerned about the one on the right. It looks brand new. The one with the holes has a nice patina. Thanks for any help. Bill

The right one (with the curved stem) is postwar west german army. That one also came with holes, but 4 instead the 5 wartime ones show.

Thanks for the info! I just noticed the one on the left HAS 5 holes? Does that mean it is WW 2? Bill

            Hi Bill

Both genuine Edelweiss, the one on the left is a good wartime example
