is this real? kinda looks like it ... though it also kinda looks postwar .... i want a real wartime one.

Looks period, hard to say what branch though.
Lack of any shoulder board loops, could be civilian also.

100% civilian - Wehrmacht leather coats show the same cut and construction as wollen coats.

No doubt this coat is real - just not 'as real as you want it to be', ie. Army related.

It depends on what you're looking for. Many officers wore civilian style greatcoats, even after regulations changed. So like Vincent said, it may not be as "real" as you want it to be.

It could have been worn by an officer, but if you want a guarantee, you're better off waiting for one with original shoulder boards and military style with the buttons.
