Collar Tab - any ideas please

Does any one have any idea what this tab is?

It is similar to the Stahlhelm collar tabs.

Der Stahlhelm like, but not Der Stahlhelm: they had the acorn beneath the two oakleaves. Sta. had wool piping.
Also notice the late war pips! Der Sta. ended in 1933/34...

It might be a Reichsbahn tab (is the piping Red?).
On the back I see the oakleaves are sewn onto it, but are there holes of other insignia that was previous there? (and so the oakleaves later added? perhaps to look like Stahlhelm)

This is an original Der stahlhelmbund collar tab, which it pretends to be in my opinion. Stahlhelm tabs are stamped on the back: Der stahlhelm, Magdenburg, ges. gesch.

No I didn't it went for $53 which i thought was a bit steep but I guess someone knew what it was.
