I take it you were in the BW? I know the NVA issued Hankies that were similar to the WW2/WH issue ones, what were the BW ones like?

I dont know what the regular BW ones were like - WE used ORIGINAL Wehrmacht ones.

And the insignia applications, sorry again. Take it outside in day light and take some decent pictures. There are no experts in this by the way, only people who think they are experts. The experts are sadly mostly dead, they were the people who made and wore the items etc. .

First of all thanks everyone for their opinions.

I guess I forgot to mention that I am not the one who took the pictures. I was offered them thru email and I asked the seller for more pictures.

I would not buy it without better pictures unless it is very cheap or you can return it. Many times when photos are that bad and dark etc. someone does not want you to see something.

Does the early boards have green piping? Never saw such boards.

Very interesting. I think everything looks believable so far, but to make a call on a full garment, you really need detailed daytime shots. Take your time for the decision.

Greetings All,

The cap eagle is original and the boards are private purchase. That is why they are pointed with a piping. I would like to see the tops of them. Insignia is nice so far!!
