These are tough to authenticate and very realistic reproductions have been made for decades. No way to render any kind of judgement based on that picture alone. I wouldn't buy it based on that picture.

Possibly an original but very poorly printed and misregistered. This one might need an in-hand inspection and burn tests on the threads but even then, it might come down to your gut feeling.

Hi pretty much every thing I know about these comes from Chris Pittman. But I just dont realy like this one myself. I like to see just a little bit of ink bleed through on the back of these.Best regards.

What I mean is that the black print is way out of alignment with the red print. Look how at the top there is a black stripe in the red field and at bottom a black stripe in between two white stripes, this is not how it was intended to look and is caused by a printing error. Compare to these:

Personally, all the printed insignia I have seen the I believe to be original, has bleed through from just a little to a lot. The ink tends to sink into the cloth, almost having a dyed appearance, rather than just sitting on the surface of the cloth IMO.

That aside, I don't care for the armband in question, I don't think it's the printing that bothers me, so much as the cloth and something about the way it's stitched.
Call it a gut hunch I guess.
