    What are these collar tabs ?

    What are these collarf tabs? Looks like army litzen ...
    but in silver on black backing ???
    with police style edge piping in silver...
    Are these Polizei? no green branch color???
    or some kind of Schuma vatiant? (because of the black backing???)
    Thoughts?

          These have come up before with confusion and I think one of the better explanations was for the post war Berlin Bereitschaftspolizei.
          These tabs are somewhat frequently found on various auctions sites.
          As suggested in the other thread, LSP is not the answer as light green was called for
          (the same as used by the Schupo).
          This lighter or green color can be seen in good period photos that would not support the use of black.

            Dave may be right. I would not think they did multi-piece Po tabs like that after the war, but the Po collectors study that stuff endlessly.
