Hello! I am extremely new to collecting and I am still quite unsure how to tell if a piece is a fake or not. Anyway, I picked up this Edelweiss cap badge for a good price, and I was curious if I could have you guys verify. Thank you for your help!

this Edelweis is from the Austrian or German Bundeswehr.

This Edelweis is not from WWII.

Agree. Try to search old threads for information and I think you'll see what we're talking about.

So, not really fake per se, and if you are into Edelweis cap badges, you can say you have a current manufactured one for comparison.
