Is the K.G. after the tailor name an abbreviated place name or like modern "KG" for limited partnership in business. That could be a clue to where he was in 1938 and the unit.

I thank you all for your comments on this tunic. Yes, it's expensive, but there's also a history to it and the original owner had the DKiG which are putting the price up. To bad Winkler didn't have the visor to go with it.
