    Waffenrock with Africa Cuff title

I just got this photo from ebay, and it looks like the guy is wearing a cufftitle on his right arm.

Is this an Afrika Korp one?

Can anyone read the back, its dated 15th Jan(?) 1943.

Would love to know what the rest says.

    Thanks

It really looks like an Afrikakorps.

Great picture, he is on the second or third floor of a flat in a town somewhere on leave. He may have been wounded. They could wear the CT on any tunic while assigned to a DAK Command and specifically so when on leave in Germany. The Tropical Tunic could also be worn on leave by soldiers assigned to DAK. The second ribbon may also be the Italian Award for Afrika-

                      Johnny,

that is true, he must have been part of the original "Afrikakorps" to have that cuff though, would think he would have worn an Afrika one if he was sent later on in the campaign. So in my opinion even a rarer pic based on the date on the back. Matt
