Hi all, here is another mystery piece from my collection. I was told it may be for signifying some type of training..? The band itself is made of the same material as medal ribbon with a typical breast-eagle sewn on. No marks. Any ideas? Thanks. Kevin L.

While unreferanced....I'm pretty sure this is the Navy version of the Armband for "Air Defense Leaders"..... (see pg. 294 Angolia/Schlicht Uniforms & Traditions of the German Army 1933-45 Vol. 2").....there were definately Army and Luftwaffe versions....I'm sure there would be Naval ones, too.
Looks like a nice Armband....
