    Panzersoldier's uniform

What is this Panzersoldat (on the left) wearing? Can anyone identify the exact type of uniform and crusher? I am thinking of rebuilding this soldier (or scene) but I need help for that. Even thought I do not know which kind of pants he is wearing one could also have an idea. Many thanks in advance!

          Field Made?

My guess is the jacket is a cotton duck field or tailor made wind breaker. The crusher appears to be worn & dirty.
          Regards,
          Mike

Nice image with a lot of non-standard items on both men!
The tunic of the officer at left appears indeed a field/tailor made garment, the field cap is an early "Alter Art" crusher that had the wreath hand-embroided directly on to the cap band. Quit often with metal eagle as well in stead of this machine woven example.

Thanks both for replying! Michael, do you have an example of this? As you see he wears it as 'standard' uniform. Embroided a WH Eagle to the garment and his decorations (which you see a little bit in the right corner in the 'Zoom in on the uniform') over his Panzer tie and undershirt.

Thanks for the answer! True.. Actually 'non-standard' was very standard under front soldiers Thanks for the information. To find an example as this one is probably going to be a though search with other words? I love the 'Alter Art' !

There are some odd ball KM pull over jackets like that. It might be worth asking a KM collector. That or it may be one of the countless variations of field made clothing for front use from captured shelter quarters etc. It is a lightweight type of fabric like the GJ anorak set. Do you know where the image was made?

                        Field/Tailor Made

                        Houwe,
As requested here is an example made in Italy by a local tailor in Italian camo material. These were made for members of 1./Panzerpionier-Btl. 16.
These garments varied due to the tastes of the wearer and the skills of the tailor. The hemds on the wind breaker shown were straight and tucked inside the trousers.
                        Regards,
                        Mike

Awesome photo. As mentioned by others, the alter art is a very early WH/late RW cap with direct embroidered wreath on to the cap band. Love it!!!!

The "Feldwebel" is in fact an Oberleutnant as can be seen from his shoulder straps. He is wearing an issue enlisted field blouse upgraded with an officer's embroidered eagle. He also appears to be wearing an officer's overseas cap.
