The picture was taken in March 1944 - it shows the Instructors of
IX. SA Standarte "Feldherrenhalle" 1.Sturm

Thank you, perhaps I should move it - Has anyone ever seen other pictures or information of this unit .
My father was briefly assigned to this unit in 1944 after being wounded in Russia. Once fully recovered he was reassigned to 1./Fsch.Pz.Jg.Abtl.1 in Italy.

Very likely a training course, as you see men wearing the Lageranzug.

Maybe the IX stands for Sturmbann IX. Sturm 1 of Sturmbann IX came from Konin.
