Interesting image with the eagle in reverse!

Wonder if this one would pass the test of being authentic attached...

A friend has once owned a M41 tropical tunic, with eagle sewn on reversed. - Finally he had to take it off, and re-apply it, as he could not sell it that way...

Very interesting. This seems to have happened on occasion with these later embroidered national emblems as the reverse image is almost a mirror of the front. I have a photo of a Heer NCO RKT with the eagle attached the same way. One just wonders: why?

I have asked my mother to sew a machinestiched eagle at my first tunic. She have sewn it that way! She hay no idea about the eagle and i didn´t told her.
        Perhaps the same happend here.

Years ago I´ve spoken a Dutch W-SS vet, who could recall receiving his sidecap and the eagle and skull seperately to be attached by themselves (!)...and that they mixed up; placing the skull above the eagle..!

Surely they would have been told to correct this immediately of course.
