After a close examination,
I'm not sure any more that the stitching seen is from a former NCO tress, as mentioned, especially due to the fact that no traces at all of a tress is visible on the observe side of the collar.
The EM shoulder straps seems at the other hand originally sewn into the tunic as there is no evidence of any replacement or restitching of them inside the rock.
Please ask for any other picture if this meets somebody's interest.
