and the bird is sewn on with the same thread as the pockets i believe from the factory

picked a great day to bring this item out to the max. beautiful wool and condition. i guess much effort was spent on its construction during wartime, and although wool, it has been made as strong as a piece of field artillery. congratulations. nice size too...

Nice tunic, not to start a big debate, then again I probably will not even generate a response...however....isn't the sewn through the lining breast eagle a little unusual for a 43 dated tunic?
