Breast eagle Schwerin for Kriegsmarine

I've seen this uniform breast eagle for the Kriegsmarine summer and I love ..... is marked by the manufacturer Schwerin-Berlin 68 in aluminum.

Are not usually this type of breast eagle, the most abundant are hollow unmarked, but the solid type and marking
Schwerin is not usual, and once listed for sale is at a high price.

The Schwerin-marked, solid gilt breast eagles are not common, only occasionally coming up for sale. However, with some patience, you can find them.

I have several examples of this breast eagle and your images match up exactly with them. Prices range from $100 to $250, depending upon who is selling the breast eagle. In my opinion, $100 is a very fair price and $250 is too much. But you as the buyer have to make your own decision.

Other solid metal breast eagles are marked for "R.K." and "M" in a diamond.
Most metal breast eagles are hollow stamped with no markings, the exception being Assmann examples stamped with their distinctive "A" logo.

these Schwerin made in aluminium are rare birds, I have one of them but have seen only a few in the market. 100% correct

Thank you very much for your comments, the truth is that I've done a good buy, I paid 150 $ (175 $ including shipping, insurance fron Canada and Paypal), and now I'm on the hunt BA from the Luftwaffe marking Assmann, I hope to get one soon, and so will complete the trio with Maedicke BA "M" in a diamond that I have in my collection.

Yes, a nice one. There are eagles out there that have a spurious Schwerin stamp, so you have to be careful.

Here's one that Thomas Huss sold recently as well. Specific die traits.

I've received my BA marked Schwerin, eMedals purchased from Canada, everything has been perfect and the piece is exceptional.
