Looks like a classic standard officer service jacke. very clean, despite teh small repairs.
BTW..the unit is a very famous infantry units...9th "Potsdam" Infantry Regiment. Very old unit with a rich history. I happen to own a similar uniform from a major as well...von Kettler. I obtained it second hand from his nephew. I have researched and copied his personnel file in the National Archives. Th etwo neat things about con K were that he was a General Staff trained/schooled officer (but wore the white waffenfarbe) and earned teh Honor Roll Clasp in 1944. I have al lof his decorations - to include his Heer Honor Roll Clasp. These include his post war 1957 style awards and ribbon bar for when he served in teh Bundeswehr.
The fact that I keep it has nothing to do with my Panzer or Großdeutschland collecting habits...but such named and researchable pieces are so rare, and I personally obtained it...I continue to keep it.
So...your uniform is especially nice since it is from a great unit.
