    Hello René,

those should be pre 1940 LW Officials medium career patches and boards in the rank os Oberleutnant: the pink secondary piping of the boards denote that the Official was member of a Motor Transport Service or possibly Technical Aircraft Service.

The boards and tabs are for an Oberfeldwebel. The Pink career could encompass any of the following:

      Photo Service,
      Motor Transport Service,
      Ordnance Service,
      Weapons and Ammunition Service,
      Technical Aircraft Service,
      Cartographic Service
      Lithographic Service

And on 08 July 1944 Other craftman's service's was added

        Correct...

The brandmeister nebenfarbe is brown(and Red was used later).

Cool! Those are hard shoulder straps to find. This is what they look like on a tunic. (I love showing off my LW technical NCO tunic)

          Best regards, Steve

                Thanks Bob,

When I got the tunic it didn't have shoulder straps. I must tell you, technical NCO shoulder straps are really hard to find.

                Best regards, Steve

I love this tunic as well... I have a half dozen LW Beamte tunics and have yet to find a NCO Admin type.

                    Steve,

Very nice tunic. Your tabs appear to have a 2/1 ratio twist cord (2 silver one green), whereas the tabs which started the thread are 2/2 ratio. Additionally, there was a specific date the color, other than silver, for the twist piping was changed (green to blue or vice versa). It's hard to tell what color the twist piping is on the tabns which started the thread.

Yes... the first tabs are pre 1940(blue-gray/silver twist). The green twist cord came in, I think, in jan40 and was in use for the duration of the war. I will check my sources for the exact dates.
