    Woven Volkssturm armband

I'm almost afraid to ask, but what do you gentlemen think of this Bevo style woven Volkksturm Wehrmacht armband?

    BeVo Volksturm Armand - Neat!

    Wow!

I like it. Unusual to say the least. If it were offered to me I'd buy it!

      Original Volksturm leaders armband.

Congratulations, I have sought one of those for years, without success.

In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king.

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

        Hello,
Bob has said it all. These are real and very rare. One was offered to me back in the mid-80's (Tom Schutt had it) and I turned it down because it was too much-$45. I regret not picking it up.

This is a good example of an item being very rare, yet it is not too exspensive and very little people know about them. This makes three now that I have seen.

        Regards,
        Jody

That is the first one I have ever seen...but then I routinely ignore them so I probably never would have seen one without you posting. Very nice and thanks for posting.

Nice. I would love to find one of these myself.

I have never seen that before either and I've bought tons of the printed from estates for years!

How much is it worth today?

It's nice to hear that it's an original one. I was going to make a Volkssturm uniform impression with it, but now that you guys say it's an original leader's armband, I believe it should rest in a collection rather than a fake display. What would be a fair asking price?

                  Hello,
I feel you have the advantage. Most folks don't know what it is. I would offer what a mint standard one goes for plus 10%.

Lets face it, as rare as it is, it is not worth a ton of money either to most collectors.

                  Regards,
                  Jody

Since it is uncommon and in such good condition, I would say $80 low $150 high for this piece.

Have had one for years; Weitze offered one a couple of years ago for (I think) for about 250 Euros...
How do we know it is specifically for a VS leader and precisely what VS rank is meant by "VS leader"?
Seems to me it could be a scarce (early?) production variant.

These bevo ones are interesting. I wonder if they have any association with SS instructors.
