    Strange Shoulder Strap.

    Hello.

I've found quite strange shoulderstrap it looks like german one but it's changed to look like polish sergeant rank. So i think that it's a part of captured german uniform, soon used by the Polish partisants. Look on those pictures

    There is a number: 4980

    And the waffenfarbe-medic.

The shoulderstrapis 13.5cm tall so it can be from greatcoat. Tell me which parts of it's was added by partisants+show me photo of that type of in good condition.

I'll be thankfull for your answer.

It sure looks like it to me. I'm no expert but if you want a second opinion, I'll give you that.

Who knows when it was converted? It could be either pre or post 1945. Very interesting though.

It looks like an SS medical EM strap, M44 style. Interesting conversion... post war or Eastern People's allied insignia?

It's prodobally captured by Polish partisans. Did that white stripe around the shoulder board is original made by germans? It was found with that second shoulder board-hidden under the beam at the attic.
