Opinions on 2 Metal breast insignia

Just want to get the forums opinion on these two eagles. The top gold one I bought from an old collection years ago, it was originally bought from Manion's in the early 1980's (I had the COA that came with it but two moves later and no clue what happened to it, probably used at wrapping paper!). They each weigh 9 grams. Thanks in advance,

To me they look like they were repaired and heat damaged.

I don't care for either one of them, especially the hinges and catches.
