    Officer Breast Eagle question

Would someong be so kind at to post a couple of pictures that illustrate the difference between officer breast eagles used by the coastal artillery and regular kriegsmarine. I am under the impression there is a difference but the specifics elude me.

    Regards,
    T

I am not convinced a difference exists. I see the difference between the wire bullion type and the cellon bullion type (both hand embroidered), but is there something (besides the color of the background material) that makes the officers eagle for the grey uniform different?

          Terrence:

I can't think of any difference save the background color. I've seen dozens of each type of eagle and the design has always been similar with the only variance due to the fact that they are hand-embroidered pieces.

If there is a difference, I'd sure be interested in learning what it is.

          Regards,

          Drew
