These were all at an auction. They were brought in by the daughter of a US Army medic, who also brought back some Algerien cigarettes and a Luftwaffe buckle with a slight tropical finish. The mdics uniforms, medical pouches and other field gear, and regimental picture were also offered. Looks like he liked shoulderboards!

Here's some of them. Some are wool, but most are tropical of a variety of shades and manufacturing styles.

more...in keeping with the medic theme, looks like the LW flight board has blood on it. Possibly treating both sides?

Infantry - looks like most of these came from panzer grenadiers, but this has always been my favorite branch.

Nice find, Robert. Too bad he didn't like pairs, but I suppose he shared with his fellow soldiers.

It is still nice to see original tropical shoulder boards, in today's muddy waters of fakes.
