I've seen one of these guys somewhere, but can't seem to
locate one for reference.
Is it a good one or scraggily fake?

Crap pics, but I think its a good one, same as the third pic from the top on p67 of Angolia and Schlicht's uniforms and trads of the German army 1933-1945, which is also a crap pic, IMO.
