    Luftwaffe flight clothing hardware

    Gents,
    I'm looking for opinions on hardware used on Luftwaffe flying kit. Specifically Prym fasteners and RiRi zips.

    I purchased a pair of well-worn kanalhose a few years ago and am now wondering if I have a repro, reworked originals, or if I'm okay?

    The trousers are the unlined blue type. Fairly well worn and with a moderate amount of storage wear. Velvet in the pistol holster and on tops of thighs/knees. Reinforced seat. Suspender rings in front, etc.

    They have nickel-plated zips. All marked D.R.P Ri Ri (Ri Ri is in stylized font) on the pullers. The sliders are also nickel-plated but without any markings. Were all RiRi zips marked on the sliders?

    I have concerns on the Prym snaps. Marked Prym 6 on the cap ends. The male portion have star patterns on them.

    I'm being intentionally vague for a reason. Please bear with me.

    It is the kind of snaps I like on a pair of summer channel trousers. Pictures of your trousers would help.

      I'm not familiar with star pattern male snaps, only the swirl type like Pierre shows.

        The zippers sound ok but would need to see a photograph of the pop snaps.

            Black arrow shows trademark OVER original dots.
            Pink arrow shows where original trade mark has been filed off.
            Red arrow shows trace of original trade mark.
