Rare armband help needed

Hello all, had a great find at a military show today...picked up an armband I have never seen before. I have pictures in my computer, but cannot attach them as I only have a free membership. It is green cotton/linen, with black BeVo stitched "Bau-u. Stortrupp" on the front. Stitched along the seam in the back is "Erha-Wuppertal". I have no doubt this is period, but cannot find info on the exact translation or the function of the soldier wearing this. Anyone have any ideas? Is there a way I can get pics to anyone?
