Rope Like Waffenfarbe on Infantry Board

As opposed to the more traditional/common silk style waffenfarbe for enlisted/NCO boards, is a rope-like piping ever seen? If so, I'd love to see a sample.

There is a fake type of piping used that literally looks like clothes line rope. I do not have an image. Do you mean something like this- I am not sure this is real-
