    My new boards MMMMM!

2 sets I just obtained threw a long drawn out haggle! Interesting fade marks on the tails of the earlier pair, my guess is they were worn upside down for security reasons. Thanks for looking, Dave.

Nice MG boards, I agree they appear to have been worn upside down.

Nice boards. If they were worn upside down with the tongue on top, the width of the board would be interfered by the shoulder loop on the tunic. Wouldn't it be more practical to flip the tongue to the other side to wear the board with the unit designation hidden? In that case the button fade would appear on the underside of the board itself rather than the tongue.

              Hi Dave,

nice boards. It is possible that the boards were worn upside down, it was an often practice during the early WW2 period. But IMO a few naps on the backside are not an evidence for that. Or did you guys see other things like me?

              Sincerely,
              Andreas

PS: I have only two single ones of this unit
