I collect Heer cloth only. I am sure somebody with a little more knowledge on SS cloth can chime in.

I am no expert on the SS edelweiss but I dont like it. Unlike wehrmacht edelweiss patches which have a lot of variations I dont think the SS Edelweiss did and this patch varies from the one that I own. See below
