Officer candidate straps opinions

I just got this pair of infantry em m40 shoulder straps. They have the double tress bands for officer candidate. They don't match perfectly but I am sure they have always been together. Any comments welcome. Jacques

M-40 Straps

I don't see any problem with the straps. I refer to them as a "mismatched pair". They are not identical; but, most likely were issued this way. I have had several pairs like this. If you move the loops, can you see a difference is in the white Waffenfarbe? Thsi will give you an idea if the Offizier Antwaerter loops have been with the straps for a while.
