LW breast eagle on dark blue

Hello everybody, can someone tell me more about LW breast eagles on dark blue backing? I've seen only some mint examples in pictures in the internet, generally sold as "Hermann Goring" panzer jacket eagle. True or fantasy?
If true, why produce eagles on dark blue also (for Hg Pz.Div.) and not only with more proper black backing?

Hi Dan,

HG Panzer eagles are on black wool backing. Not sure what you mean by dark blue. Are we talking wool backed? Need alittle more info to help.
