    Uniform has arrived...

Just came in the mail today and I think she is a keeper, but would not mind having few trained eyes giving her a look over...
Any particular area I should take some photos of? Stitching / inside / boards?
I have a few days inspection period.

Hi, it looks good to me, and the eagle is very good, I have one the same.

                Pics

                Thanks for the comments.

I've always wanted a tunic but i've been nervous as hell to buy one. I picked up a few books ("uniforms and traditions" is most likely on the top of my list) and this one looked too good to pass up. "too good" sometimes means too bad, so I appreciate the feed back.

I took a few more pics:

Wow! Nice!....More Pics! I have the same eagle on my NCO M36 --- a common upgrade I think.

Is the eagle and the other insignia hand applied or machine applied?

I can now see that they are applied by hand. The computer at work is so bat that it is hard to see pictures clearly, but now I am at home and can see the pictures much better.

                        Very nice tunic.

Rear facing material on the collar reverse is unlike the standard HBT one sees on most M36/43's/ and some 40's (which are also seen with just doubled em wool) , however, it is of a style sometimes seen on nice M36's, congrats! Side note, places like At the Front and other reenactor suppliers have mimicked this material, higher end fakes will use original hbt broken down from two pocket luft drill/work tunics.
