Have seen this one for sale and haven't been able to find a similar one. Description is that it is herringbone material. Did these exist and how much should one pay if so?

IMO, if it is "of the period" it would be a private or field made item. I think Relic Hunter is offering a similar item although I don't know if it's HBT.

Hello Patrick, stay far away from those items! Only a few original where ever seen, but most of them are fake.
