    Shoulderstrap 502, Chevron

    hello
    i found this two items today in an old house

    could it be tank shoulderstrap?
    would be great

    No Panzer strap, it is Hitler Youth, the chevron looks like a very oxidized Army Chevron or it may have been gray to begin with. The strap will clean up. It looks like "plaster wash" you see all over Europe from being in moist old houses.

        Hi agree strap is HJ, but the chevron is more likely to be Luft, than Heer, IMO.

          I think the current color is related to the plaster etc. I spent a good part of my youth pulling crap out of wet German basements. This dead gray is the color dark green badge cloth turns to after years of bad conditions. I bet the line is a dark green as well where it has not faded.
