FJ Tabs for $330??

Hi,

I usually don't comment on sales on the e-stand but since these have already sold I thought I would ask the question.....Is there something on the remnant of cloth which associates this with specifically as FJ? Am I missing something here? The tabs are standard and could be for Flieger or FJ. The basic tabs themselves in mint condition would be a fraction of this price.

Gary, I share your opinion...could be flieger as wel. The price for a pair of basic tabs would be 60-70 usd or so? And these are dirty!
Just to make a photo of them on top of a piece of chute and adding some text doesn't make them fallsch.j.

FJ Cloth tab

Gary, since you asked I will come forward as the buyer of the tabs...... I collect SS and Luftwaffe FJ "cut-off" insignia. This rank tab was the only one I did not have in a cut-off and have been looking for this for years..... And just for the record I would MUCH rather have a salty piece of insignia than one that came out of a warehouse.

I did not pay the asking price but still paid too much but I am sick of looking at the hole in my display. I remember the days when I was buying this stuff for a fraction of todays prices but then again you could buy a nice home for $30K and gas was .40 cents a gallon.
