luft Breast Or Cap Eagle ?

Hi:
I just can't seem to see the difference between the two in all my searches on the WAF.
Can you tell me the difference between breast and cap triangles?
I have a tropical here, which is it?

The eagle that is pictured is for the tropical shirt. IMHO it may not be good but I could be wrong. I'm sure that you will get some more comments on it if I am! Cap eagles are smaller with a wingspan of about 2 3/4".

It Is a Trop shirt eagle, though sometimes you see them on tunics. Very occasionaly I have seen them on a cap, but they were field made items, Probably never issued on a cap. It has some features that make it look good to me, but a closer photo, of front and back would help me to pass a firmer opinion, as it also has some features I don't like.

Your eagle, though odd looking, is 100% genuine. IMHO this style tropical shirt eagle was produced outside of Germany, probably in Greece or Italy.

Look through this thread sometime and you will see one like yours as well as other versions of tropical eagles. Many are shown in my book.
