    what tunic is this?

What kind of jacket is this? Could it be german ww2? According to the owner, it came together with a german M43 jacket & M43 greatcoat from germany. Was used as a POW jacket.Has 3 front buttonholes and i think an open collar.(could be wrong on that). Also I'd like to know what it would be worth.

    Thanks,
    T.

The inverted pleated pockets remind me of posr war grenzpolizei.

Yes, but I figured out that M36 tunics also have such plated pockets.Tough I'm quite sure that's not it.
      Anyone got more info?

Actually M36 tunics (like most TR tunics) always have external pocket pleats (and later styles of course no pleats)

Internal pocket pleats do exist on some TR uniforms, but usually private purchase pieces and could be a foreign tailor trait...but not in this case...

I agree based on the pleats and open collar (V-neck) design
most likely a post war piece...
